Mudras & The Five Elements
A clear guide to key hand mudras and the five elemental principles used in yoga to improve focus, energy and emotional balance.
What Are Mudras?
Mudras are yogic hand gestures used to influence the flow of energy in the body. Each finger represents one of the five elements β Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.
When fingers touch or press in specific ways, these elements come into balance, affecting focus, breath, mood and overall wellbeing. They are subtle yet profoundly effective tools used throughout our classes.
